Dog behaviour modification

Ideal for dog owners who want help to help their dogs with behaviour issues such as fear-based aggression/reactivity, fear-based anxiety, inappropriate vocal behaviours, separation anxiety and abnormal repetitive behaviours. We start with a veterinary referral (approval from your vet your dog is fit and healthy) to check there are no underlying issues that may be affecting the behaviour to keep them updated with our work and liaise regarding medication if required. A detailed full written report can be given and a training plan is made especially for you to help guide you to success.

Dog training

Ideal for dog owners who want help to train good obedience with their dogs using reward-based methods. Skills learned are issues with pulling on the lead, recall, jumping at visitors, focus, impulse control, trick training, puppy training, good manners, and general obedience. A bespoke training plan is made especially for you to help guide you to success.

Puppy training

The VIP Puppy training package is a great alternative to going to group puppy classes. You learn a lot more with these intensive 1:1 sessions and get personalised help and advice from our accredited trainer to give your puppy the best start in life. For owners who get self-conscious in group classes or would like more private tuition which goes at your pace, this course is for you. This is ideal for puppies under 6 months old as it's vital to get training in early development right. You need to get the training right during the first 12 months of their life and we will explain why! We help you develop an obedient and well-behaved family member.

Scentwork

Scent detection training has long been used widely across the world, for working and operational services.
Our dogs have been used to search for drugs, bombs, firearms, cash, contraband, missing people & human remains.
In recent years, a larger number of dogs are being used for assistance purposes such as medical alerts (diabetes), medical detection (detecting cancer cells in humans..... WOW!), and as support dogs detecting emotional changes in their owners.
As pet dog owners, we can tap into the huge capabilities of our dog's noses in easy scentwork exercises that we can do both at home and outside.
Moreover, scentwork is HUGELY enjoyable for our dogs, not only using a lot of brainpower but also improving behaviour.
Did you know that around 10 minutes of mental stimulation for our dogs is as good as an hour's walk?
