Very poor

I ordered Fins on-line and just under a week after receiving the order confirmation, I emailed to find out the progress of the order, to be told they were out of stock and wouldn't be available for another 6 weeks. On calling them, I was then told they don't inform customers when an item is out of stock and it's up to the customer to contact them to enquire what's happened to the order. 'We just don't do it' I was told. They said there wasn't anyone I could complain to and the lady just kept saying 'we just don't tell the customer' They do of course, keep your money in the meantime, until the customer realises that the item hasn't been delivered, Very shoddy practises, and complete contempt for the customer. They must know as soon as the order is placed that it's out of stock so the customer should be informed - NOT sent an order confirmation and then left waiting.
