My partner and I took our daughters (aged from fourteen years to nine years), to Toby Carvery, Dudley for a 'special treat'. We were greeted by friendly, approacheable staff. The tables were clean and laid-out invitingly (I witnessed staff cleaning the tables thoroughly immediately after customers had vacated the inn, not a dirty plate or soiled table in-sight). We had to queue for our food but, as the menu was varied (this included a variety of festive meats, vegetarian meals and side orders), it was well worth the wait..... the childrens' portions were inviting and the staff addressed the children directly as to what they wanted to eat. The sweet was limited and had to be ordered via waitress service, but none-the-less well presented and delicious. The cost of the 'family meal' was very economical and a pleasant surprise!! For customers not wishing to dine, there is a 'bar area', where you can sit by an open fire and enjoy a quiet drink in a friendly environment. Only one critisism, for customers requiring 'smaller meals' this was not catered for; adults requiring the 'smaller portions' still had to pay FULL PRICE even though the food was harved... (a child portion is not available for adults) To summerize, if you're looking for a great night out, I would recommend Toby Carvery, Dudley (opposite Tesco's on main Burnt Tree Island)... WELL WORTH A VISIT ........
